About Us
The North Carolina Association of School Administrators (NCASA) was established in 1976. Our mission is to ensure quality learning experiences for all students through visionary and effective leadership. Alongside our members, NCASA continually strives to Lead | Inspire | Achieve. NCASA is an umbrella organization under which twelve facets of school administrative leadership groups are united, including superintendents, principals/assistant principals, school business officials, personnel administrators, compensatory educators, school nutrition officers, transportation leaders, public relations and communications officials, technology leaders, professors of education leadership, and administrators of special education, career and technical education.
NCASA is committed to growing and changing to meet the needs of our membership, and focuses heavily on representing our administrators’ viewpoints year-round with a definitive voice at the North Carolina General Assembly, the North Carolina State Board of Education, and other policy-making bodies. Our team also focuses on providing first-class communications and to-the-minute updates during sessions of the General Assembly, as well as exceptional professional development opportunities for every level of administrative leadership. NCASA is YOUR association – your advocate, your network, and your system of support.
