The Anson County Board of Education in North Carolina is seeking a superintendent to lead the school system. The board seeks candidates who have a documented record of educational success from classroom, principalship to school district level.
Anson County is located in the Piedmont area North Carolin, and borders South Carolina. It has approximately 3,300 students in grades K-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 16 to 1.
Small county charm, southern hospitality and communities who care about schools make this area an “off the beaten path” gem. It is close to universities and a metropolitan city, Charlotte, without the related issues of traffic and urban congestion.
The School District enjoys phenomenal community support. The faculty and staff of each school have created a climate for learning that enhances academic success of students. Upon meeting with the faculty at each school, it is obvious that Anson County School District is one in which quality and caring count.
